Most makeup sellers on ebay sell fakes! Sad but true. Many of these companies do not wholesale and the sellers are getting their products from sites that sell counterfeit products. To be sure that your item is authentic, your best bet is to buy directly from the brnd's website or store. If you buy off of ebay, please note that your item may NOT be authentic even if a seller "claims" it to be.

 

If you do purchase a fake, make sure you file a claim with paypal or ebay to get your money back.

A lot of sellers lately, will not provide shipping to International addresses due to customs, buyers claiming not received, filing claims, etc.

 

 

Best thing to do is email the sellers you are interested in buying from and ask if they are willing to ship Internationally. good luck!

That's a pretty broad statement! I'm sure there are counterfeit products in all categories. I sell beauty items and they are not fake, they are purchased directly the manufacturer or through a major chain.

I wanted to add that many people sell items they buy in large kits and have extras that they do not use.  Others bought too many of an item.  I sell some of my extras on ebay and they are not fakes. 

 

Also, there is an HSN outlet in my town that many people buy sealed/new products at discount and resell it on Ebay. 

 

I don't know how many are fake but I know there are many that are not.  I personally feel there is a better chance to get real products if you see that the seller is not from overseas (hong kong, etc) and only sell a few items.  Hope this helps a litte.
