i'm learning french beaded flowers from a book but have reached an impasse. i'm working on a begonia, and the pattern calls for a "v split" technique. instructions and illustrations are given but are very inadequate and i can't make head nor tail of them.

I have a french beading book and can't find that term anywhere or I would send u a pic.  Did you try the glossary?  Love that you're making these gorgeous flowers!

thanks for checking! i've set the begonia aside and have moved on to other patterns. i requested some books at my library and hopefully the v-split will be explained in one of them.

I have seen video tutorials on french beaded flowers on YouTube. If you go there and search one, the person doing the tutorial may answer your question or even have a tutorial on that (v split) technique. There is a place to comment or contact the person below the video, and most of the ones who do them are happy to help people learn more about their craft. :)
