We have some new suede leather strips we use in jewelry...but it will run when being used.   I suppose when it is on the arm, it will continue to turn the arm black???

Any suggestions about what to do?   thx

Leather can be washed.  Take a practice piece, measure it and wash it by hand in cool water and mild soap.  RInse.  Wrap in a piece of rag to remove excess water & dye.  lay it out flat to dry...stretch as needed.  When dry, check to see if it shrunk and if it stills runs.  Fabric softener can go into the rinse if needed.

I wash hides in the machine and hang them to dry.

Maybe try a leather/suede protection from theleathercollection.  They have several leather care and maintenance products.
