seller wants a refund

Nov 6, 2009 7:45 AM
I have a seller from Brazil who claims that she didn't get her item. First of all she didn't even contact me about this until 1 month later. It was sent first class, so it was not tracked. Anyway, I was a little suspicious about this and checked her feedback left for others. I saw that she has a lot of recent feedback saying "thanks for the refund." I think this is a scam. Is there anything that I can do about this?

I meant to write Buyer wants a refund. I'm sure you figured that out.

Thanks in advanced!!

Give the buyer her refund.

Apart from the GPS, I don't see anything you sell that's a scam magnet.

You was only $30 worth of baby clothes...it's not a really big deal. I just think that it is strange that she has been getting so many refunds lately.

$30 is pretty substantial in a country like Brazil, good way to fly under the radar while making enough to get by.

The package should get tracked in Brazil even for first class mail packages. A customer of mine has told me about it and I know it's been mentioned on the discussion board before. This is the link I could find.

Brazil has restrictions on used clothing, but to explain this would have taken more than 3 or 4 words.:)

They were new clothes. They sold for $30, retail value is more.

Would the customs department in Brazil be able to tell that the clothes were new?

you mean buyer, right? go to Brazilian Post Office site, enter the customs number, sometimes it can be tracked there.
