Can I host my eBay Description photos on my website?

Several poster have asked this question without any definitive answer that I can find --

Are images hosted on a private website allowed? For example, I have my photos used in my eBay Description HTML hosted in an image directory on my website. I don't use a 3rd party like Photobucket and don't want to. And, aside from using the one photo, it is too time consuming for me to load photos into eBay's photo hosting service.

PLEASE answer this question.

Hi james-pottery

Its ok to use photos that you've hosted outside of eBay in your item description.

The way you've included pictures in your listings is ok -they're hosted on your site (that offers listings for sale), but still used in your eBay listing in a way that buyers can see these pictures without having to leave eBay.

Here are a few things we noticed that will be prohibited with the updated links policy
1. Multiple links to your site which offers listings for sale
2. Email address

Thanks

Using a 3rd party lister like Auctiva or Inkfrog, where it says click to enlarge - is ok? As is using their templates?
Thank you

Hi richard8732,

Yes. You can continue to use listing templates and host photos with any eBay Certified Provider.

Thanks
