I ALREADY LOVE THIS PLACE"JUST LIKE HOTEL CALIFORNIA"!!!!..im linda ..aka llm50..been with ebay since 2000 ..no im not a powerseller..just a small seller ..you know like the ones ebay origanally started with???the folks that made them...(with out the cheap china dropship junk)?..actually sorry about that last phrase..but until you(im also a buyer)got a bra from china dropship ..that smelled of "mold'..and they wouldnt take it back?......well..i got a "you cant return it instead of a "im sorry'yes very gross...also anyone ever heard anything of ebay live 2010?being a native chicagoian..im sorry that "everything" hit the fan just in time for live to come here...any live...news? thanks ..ps "im glad i can never leave"...linda llm50

Love your froggies! I don't hop in here too often, but always enjoy reading about everyone  We live in Tennessee, near Nashville. Just part-time eBayers, but have met some wondeful folks since 1998! I work full-time and just do eBay in the evenings. Our 'family' consists of me, DH, 3 dogs and a cat - and a koi pond. Nice to meet you all!

Hello everyone! No way do I have time to read all 374 posts! I stumbled into this area looking for help - I forgot how much fun this part of Ebay can be! Just wanted to say hi.........not much to say about myself...sorta shy. I'm an early retiree, empty nest...no, wait! Make that 7 in the nest! My daughter is temporarily living here with 3 rabbits, 2 dogs, 1 parrot . Ok, ok......make that zoo then. Picky, picky!  I'm a perpetual insommniac.........especially since the latest problem cropped up selling. At one time I spent quite a lot of time on the boards......met a LOT of VERY nice people. Which reminds me........shouldn't I be using a different name for the boards?? (Is it necessary?) Moved to another state, stopped eBaying for a long time and, unfortunately, have forgotten most of the names that I'd made friends with. The last 30 minutes spent stumbling around here seeking help showed several humorous, intelligent people that I thought would be fun to meet. *waves*

Hi and welcome back. I'm fairly new here myself. We also have a zoo: 3 dogs,1 cat and a pond full of Koi. I like to visit with new friends in the neighborhoods and have met some wonderful people! Some nights it does take a lot of reading

Hi, I'm Sue. I have 4 children, and 8 grandchildren and hoping for more! My hobby is making soap and finding good deals here. I started out buyng and selling, but now I just buy. Which brings me to why I am here. I'm browsing listings of things I am interested in (right now it is coffee for my new Keurig coffeemaker). All of a sudden the appearance of the listings completely changed! What happened?? Comfused, Sue

Hi everyone. And for those who now see different lisings...eBay has made some changes, so be sure to check latest updates or changes. Yipes, it has changed so much since I started on eBay in 1998! Hang in there tho, some are good - yes it's different from time to time - but still meet some great folks here!

I live in the small community of Caiirere,
I am a mature female with multiple talents that have allowed me to work multiple part time jobs.
I never get bored and I canpick and choose the jobs I want to take. I am lucky in that I don't have to fret about being laid off.
Someone, somewhere, always needs one or two of my abilities.
Have been a member of Ebay since the late 90's which is pretty evident by my 2 character username.
In my chosed profession I am known as "The Piddler" because I have learned how to do so many things.
I do have a couple of questions for anyone who knows:
1.
Is it still the best way to preserve and protect my beautiful wood dinnerware by using a mild dish soap for cleaning, and after drying the wood plates, rubbing them with mineral oil?
I have a 20 place settings of beautiful mohogany and monkey pod wood dishes that I bought in the Phillipines. Normally I use them 2 or 3 times a year when we host a B-B-Q. The plates are 12" squares and hold all of the food any one person could consume. I alwalys use plastic utensils with them and as you can imagine, I get lots of compliments on my back deck "table settings" with these dishes.
2.
Has anyone had the foam spray insulation sprayed in their attic long enough to notice a substantial savings in their electric bill?
