Let's Play Name That Quote...

I got this ideal from "Name That Tune" thread and thought it would work just as well as NAME THAT QUOTE.
If you guess the movie, then you leave a quote behind for the next person to guess. I'll start it off with something pretty easy to get us started.
"I'll be back."
Now the first one to guess the movie title leaves their answer & their quote for the next person to guess and it just continues to go 'til everyone gets tired of it. Have fun!

OK--I'm game. That's easy--"The Terminator."
My turn, and I'll also make it simple (at least for now ;->)
"I'll get you my pretty . . . And your little dog too!"

The Wizard of Oz. Bumping it up a notch... "Enough about me, let's talk about you. What do you think of me?" And here's another easy one... "We're gonna need a bigger boat!"

That's from Double Indemnity. Everyone is sure to get this: "And why am I Mr. Pink?"
Mos Eisley Spaceport. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious.

Hi fellow movie buffs,
You guys are good! I'll have to leave the last couple quotes to someone else, but I have a couple of easy ones for ya:
"Go ahead, make my day."
"Yo Adrian, I did it!"
Have fun!!! ;0)

"Caddyshack"--I loved that movie as a kid, especially the candy bar in the pool scene!

Cliffp400 - That's right!! Good job, especially since I quoted it wrong! HAHA It should be "conversation" not "information", but I didn't know how to amend it without it being more confusing! HAHA

I didn't see a response to this: -------------- dfox210@comcast.net (821) (view author's auctions) 3:22am August 28, 2002 (# 2 of 10) "Enough about me, let's talk about you. What do you think of me?" ---------------------------- Answer: Bette Midler in "Beaches". ===== My quote: "If you build it, he will come." (Easy, right?)

"Field of Dreams" right? (At least I think it's right)
I see noone named my previous quote--either noone knew it or didn't care to answer it, but it's from "Picnic at Hanging Rock."
Ok, a very easy one again, then:
"Here's looking at you kid."

"Go ahead, make my day" was from "Sudden Impact", the fourth Dirty Harry movie (but Harry did say it).
"Scout, Scout..stand up, your fathers passin'" would have to be "To Kill a Mockingbird"
For my own submission:
"Afghanistan banana stand."

"Here's looking at you, kid." - has to be Casablanca, one of my favorite movies of all time! Yes, my quote was from Field of Dreams. Easy. I Love that Bette Midler line. My husband and I joke and say that to each other all the time. Especially after one of us has been talking about their day and the other person is starting to get bored. It's a favorite quote! I don't know the answer to "Afghanistan Banana Stand", but that's funny. (At least out of context it sounds funny!) My submission today would be: "Nobody puts Baby in a corner!"

"Nobody puts Baby in a corner" is what Patrick Swayze's character said to Jennifer Grey's character just before the big finale in Dirty Dancing. This one should be easy: "I can eat 50 eggs" Vicki

That's right. Cool Hand Luke is one of my favorites. They overdid the Christ symbolism, but it's still a great movie. Didn't George Kennedy when the Best Supporting Actor for his role? Vicki

I had to look it up to be sure, but you're right, Kennedy did win best supporting actor for his role. Is there a horrible scene involving a fire hose in this movie? It has been years and years since I've seen Cool Hand Luke and I might have the fire hose thing mixed up with another movie. Okay, here's my quote: "Socks are poorly designed." I love this one because I wear my socks exactly the same way as this character does for the same reason!

Don't know that one wyt. Try this one: "Say hello to my little friend." or "The new phone book is here, the new phone book is here. I'm somebody now!" or "Dong, Where is my automobile?" or "Shampoo is better, I go on first and clean the hair. No, conditioner is better, I make the hair silky and smooth." if you don't know the one above here's another one from the same movie: "T, T, T, Today, Junior!" Sorry, I could go on forever. Some of those may not be famous, but in my circle of friends they are!

chandlertigger I believe that your first one, "Say hello to my little friend," was said by Al Pacino in the movie Scarface. The others I don't know. Here is an easy one. "I'll make him an offer he can't refuse."

"The Godfather." Ain't familiar with the other quotes. Now here's mine, it's probably un-p.c. to find it funny, but I laughed when I heard it:
"I may be a b*tch, but I'll never be butch!"
