How do I change my location when selling?

I do not always need to have where the item physically is in my listings. I have seen many auctions that simply state: Worldwide or U.S.

How do I get my listings to say that instead of my hometown and state??

Why do you want to do this? IMHO, it just plants a seed of doubt in potential bidders' minds about the seller's honesty.

The Item Location field just be accurate; otherwise, it is a violation of the Item Location Misrepresentation Policy: Link

To change the location, you'll need to be in the Sell form that has more options (there's a link at the top right of the Sell form). Then scroll down and there should be an entry somewhere in there for Location, with an Edit link below it.

Thanks for am 'appropriate' response Glenda, I'll look into that. Only been selling here since '98 - never knew about all this "hidden" stuff.

@dr_strangelove: no doubts as to my intentions. My feedback should clearly state that. Just too many goofballs on eBay these days that use information for their own heinous ways. When selling something small that can be shipped, the buyer doesn't always care nor have to know where it's coming from as long as it's from within the U.S.
