I have two tickets for the Eurostar from London to Paris that I cannot use because of the current travel crisis in Europe. If I could sell them that would be two people who could get home. I have told ebay that I am willing to list them below cost. Currently they have pulled my original listing.
This may result in two empty seats going on that train. I am willing to list a buy it now at less than my purchase price so that two people desperate to make that travel connection can do it.
I think this is the time when bending a few rules because of necessity will benefit everyone.
Imagine how you would feel trying to go to a funeral, home to your family, a wedding, an important business meeting and not being able to go? Now imagine that you knew there were unused seats on the train that went unused because Ebay wasn't able to adjust to the current emergency. Please send them a message that they need to make a temporary adjustment to their policy or ignore these listings while the crisis continues.
