Help - How do i get Buyers to leave reviews

I have sold several items by now and only 2 Buyers have left reviews - when I send them their tracking number I have been asking them very politly to leave a review for me as a Seller but to no avail - I do not want to push anyone but it would help establish me as a Seller.

Any suggestions or do I just be patient?

Did you give them review (feedback)? That may be the only way you will receive yours. Many buyers resent being asked to leave feedback. You are lucky as some will give a negative for being asked.

As soon as the funds are confirmed in PayPal I leave them a postitive review and the only time I ask for it is in the same email I send showing their tracking number.

Note that I send the tracking # to show them that the item has been shipped within 24 hours, hoping to get a good review - never ending circle I guess.

Hello,

Leaving feedback is not mandatory, some people do and some don't.

 

I was looking at your items for sale and probably for your benefit you should start selling and earning feedback with less expensive items until you get used to eBay.

 

There are some buyers who look to take advantage of new sellers who don't have an understanding of eBay and PayPal rules.

 

Be sure to use delivery confirmation and signature delivery on your expensive items.  I believe PayPal requires a signature for items above $200 or so.

I agree, it's not good for people to not leave feedback at all, it's laziness and they probably don't understand that sellers need to have positive feedback. If you give a 14day return option and the person never replies you have to wait to see if they are keeping it right, that' s just rude.

i would check out burtontaylor1999 since this ebayer has tons of reviews and they are hard to find....it seems that if you can't find a way for buyers to leave reviews, maybe you can write some yourself?
