I hope someone out there can advise me. I recently sold a Pub Light, buyer paid same day then called the next day upset that he hadn't received it yet. The light shipped the following day with tracking. The same day it was delivered buyer opened a dispute, escalated it to a claim, & left Neg FB indicating it was broken when it arrived. He also shipped a pkg to me within 30 minutes of receiving his item, however the weight was different than my original package to him so I contacted and indicated I would pursue legal recourse if he was sending me ANYTHING OTHER THAN HIS ORIGINAL PURCHASE. Next day he closed the claim with Paypal indicating the issue had been resolved. I received the package and just as I thought, it was a completely different light all together...But since the shipment, he has messaged and called me at my business at least 40 times. He said if I don't reimburse him in full he will reopen the case (claim) and I will lose my right to sell anything on EBay in the future. To make a long story longer....I have heard from 2 other sellers he has done business with that they have had similar experiences with him!!! Anyone have any suggestions? Can he reopen that claim? Would I be better off just to refund, let him keep the light and write it off as a rotten experience?? Any advise would be appreciated.
