O M G!
This is supposed to be an improvement on the bidding/buying
process...
It's from Evan Liang on the General Announcement page...
Average Selling Price for Items with Pre-Filled Item
Information. We'll display the average selling price
for that item when the buyer’s bid is significantly below the average. This will
only be included on items where the seller’s listing was created using
Pre-Filled Item Information. (Items listed with the same Pre-Filled Item
Information are close or identical products and can be compared to determine a
reasonably accurate average price.)
I don't know about you... but when I'm selling I hope to get
as much as I can. I don't want anything limiting the bidding process.
For example: I'm bidding on a book or cd, I see the
average price is $10.00... how much more than that will I be willing to bid
until I search for a different one. If I would bid more at all. Isn't this
price fixing?!? Or am I being too paranoid.
Thank god its only for items with pre-filled item
information... but none-the-less, even if you don't use that feature others
will... and limit the bidding on your item.
THIS IS REALLY RETARDED!
'nuff said
Cheers!
