Maintaining Seller Status While Away from eBay

Hi! I will not be able to monitor, answer questions or ship any items for 9 days. How do I keep my top-rated seller status and my power seller status...etc...without having to end all of my listings?

Even if I put a message in the description that the item won't ship until ________ it will still effect my selller score, right? Because of the 1-day handling and 4 day arrival rule.

It seems like this should be an easy problem to fix but I don't see a solution. Thanks for any suggestions...I'm still new at high volume selling and protecting my ratings. I really want to earn my discount! Thanks!!

- if you have a store - put it on VACATION HOLD - this should take care of issues

- if you don't have a store, unlist items - relist when you return

You could get a store at 15.95 a month and try putting the store on vacation.  It would hide your listings.

The only thing I am not sure of is whether the store will put the listing created while on a non-store account on vacation.  It should but you never know for sure.

It does take a while when creating a store for the listings to be transferred into the store. A couple of hours, maybe more.

PS I saw you have 124 Fixed Price listings but you have variations so the actual listing count is about 24. So it is cheaper to list the 24 Fixed Price listings in a non-store. At first I thought that you should get a store based on number of listings.
