Duplicate Listings - USED ITEMS...

I have a question on duplicate listings. I sell one-of-a-kind used items. I will be selling vintage silver, clothing and other collectibles.

The wear pattern on each silver piece is different. Yet I might have 5 listings if I have 5 used forks in the same pattern with each piece showing different signs of wear.

In many cases I have no clue as to the pattern name on silver.

How many different ways can you expect a seller to say "Vintage sterling silver fork Unknown Pattern"... ?

How many different ways can a seller be expected to list "Brand _____ blue jeans size 8 used".

Every used listing will have a "different" pattern of wear. I have 5000 used items I want to list between now and Christmas. I do not want to be worried about how many USED silver or blue jean listings I have up since each one will have a different picture.

So is a live person going to be checking pictures on each used listing?

Is ebay going to ignore USED listings looking for duplicates?

Each picture will be different but silver in the same pattern might look the same unless the wear marks were compared listing to listing. Thanks!
