Jessica. Forgive iomoon. He comes across as tetchy at times ... But he makes a perfectly valid point. All you say is that you have a huge box of old stuff, and please will someone rescue you. You can hardly expect anyone to respond to that ...!!
Post a few scans of sample stamps or album pages, so folks can see what quality of material this is, and I'm sure someone will offer a friendly opinion as to how you might proceed. All depends on whether what you have is a decent old collection that someone spent money on so that it has retained its value (possible but not that common), or some unsuspected treasures (highly unlikely), or a bunch of ordinary stuff that's worth little (most likely, but who knows -?).
