Updates at The Virtual Stamp Club
Jun 19, 2012 03:37 AM

We've made a major update to the VSC website, www.virtualstampclub.com:

  • Two new videos (one on Vatican stamps, the other about a milestone in a young philatelic leader's life);
  • the possibility the USPS is going overboard on baseball (discussion and radio feature);
  • a new edition of the definitive work on U.S. plate numbers (Durland 2012) has been published;
  • columnist John Hotchner looks at how you can't help learning history through stamp collecting;
  • and a new edition (finally!) of "Lloyd's Fun FDCs" (on modifying cachet art with PhotoShop Elements).

And, as they say on late night TV, "But wait, there's more!" The most complete up-to-date free U.S. stamp program listing online; our weekly stamp show listings (not just U.S. but everywhere), and "Help! I Inherited A Collection."

Starting May 1—get up to 2,500 FREE listings* every month with an eBay Stores subscription

eBay has reduced the upfront cost to sell for Store sellers! With eBay’s new everyday rate plans, you get from up to 150 to 2,500 FREE listings* per month—no insertion fees, auction-style or fixed price—with an eBay Stores subscription. You pay a final value fee only when you sell! Plus, the final value fees for Stores have been streamlined to just 5 competitive category-based rates as low as 4%—and never more than 9%—regardless of how you sell.

Learn more about everything eBay Stores have to offer, then use the Fee Illustrator to find the best Store option for you! Watch this tutorial to learn how.

*Pay no insertion fees for your allotted free listings per calendar month. Optional fees, including advanced listing upgrades and supplemental service fees, still apply. Pay final value fees only when you sell. Motors Vehicles, Real Estate, Heavy Equipment, Concession Trailers & Carts, Imaging & Aesthetics Equipment and Commercial Printing Presses are excluded. 12 free pictures does not apply to Motors Vehicles listings. Terms are subject to change. Learn more.

LLOYD---------Good to see you doing new things and adding more to your  Philatelic  chat  site. I see more of the old crowd from here moved on to your site and got away from the abusive comments that manifest this chat room. Good luck on develping your site  and maybe a few of the new visitors  who check in here  will join  you if they are looking for serious stamp discussions.

Thanks. One advantage we have is that we can talk about eBay without worrying about, um, biting the hand that feeds us. (I almost wrote "bites that hand that fees us;" was that a Freudian slip? B-) )
