SIGN-IN

Oct 1, 2009 2:33 PM
New to ebay. why do I sign in, check "keep me signed in", and still have to sign in again seemingly every time I change topic or leave and come back. whats the point to "keep me signed in"? This is a personal environment not a community.

I have experienced the same issue for over two weeks now and I no longer want to use ebay. In fact, I lost an item because ebay made me sign in after I bid on an item and before I could confirm my bid.

I just completed two sessions (wasting over thirty minutes) with ebay live reps. The first one told me to clear my internet history and that would resolve the problem. It did not. The second session got me to ebay security - who told me that for security reasons, ebay was making everyone sign in more often. And, that there was nothing I or anyone else could do to fix the problem - constantly having to sign in when you tried to change pages.

I think everyone who has this issue should stop using ebay until the problem is resolved.

And, don't forget how hard it is to get to ebay customer service to identify your problem. Try the following for a direct link:

Link

Good luck!

STUPIDITY, UTTER STUPIDITY.

I'm IN MyEbay. If I'm logged in to MyEbay, I'm already logged in. So I go to re-list and they want my user name and password again. You know what, I'm not doing it. I'm not listing items tonight. NO revenue from me to you Ebay. And the REALLY STUPID part is that I had to log in again just to post this. All the fraud rampant here and this is the carp they worry about? What a bunch of idiots!

Had to sign in again. Come on Ebay fix something. ANYTHING! Show us there really is still someone there and you're really not running on autopilot.
