HERE IS THE SOLUTION TO EVERYONE'S PROBLEMS! I know I've been losing money not having eBay work properly, STOP LOSING YOURS! All you have to do is to change the DNS settings to point to DNS outside of Comcast. www.opendns.com can be used; 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 are two servers Here's how: 1) Open Control Panel (Start -> Control Panel) 2) Select Network Connections 3) Select your active connection (I.e. Local Connection #1, Wireless Connection #1) whatever is your primary internet connection. 4) Right click, select properties. 5) Scroll through the list to select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) 6. Under the General Tab, select use the following DNS server addresses. 7. Enter the preferred and alternate DNS addresses as listed above. Preferred: 208.67.222.222 Alternate: 208.67.220.220 8. You're done. Your internet will disconnect and reconnect with the new DNS and viola! The problem is solved. You can also use any other DNS servers you may know of, have access to, or know works for you BESIDES the Comcast DNS servers. eBay is hard at work (I hope..) notifying Comcast of this problem, and for some of you it may be fixed before you can implement this change. My computer is Windows XP 2003, settings or instructions may be different for other users. If you have questions or need help, I'd be more than happy to help you through it. You can e-mail me at ebay@atyourbidding.com, you can also feel free to bid on anything I have listed as thanks. :P
