Hi All,

It looks like the top of the board has gotten pretty bogged down with older threads. Rather than delete them all I am creating this single thread to be a hub to access all of the older ones that end up sinking to the bottom of the board.

If I archive any threads that you feel really need to remain individually tacked, please feel free to drop me a line.

This has been a topic for years, and has never been resolved. Confirmation notifications, and sent invoices are either extremely late, or not getting to members at all. The standard answer from customer service is to check spam filters, and this answer does not apply in the majority of cases. Please don't sweep this topic under the rug. It is a real ebay problem.

HERE IS A WORKAROUND TO ITEMS NOT POSTING PROPERLY

I had the same experience, posted the same items twice and they didn't show up in the directory. I got a lot of waffle from someone in India about indexing and it taking a few hours in some cases - TOTAL BS

I relisted the same item a third time but set a time for it to start 15 minutes later. When the time came, the item instantly showed up in the directory.

If you are in a rush to get something up and listed, this might help out.

I posted a workaround for the intermittent but long-ongoing issue that has Marketplace Research not allowing the user to change the dropdown box from 2 weeks to 3 months.

It's pretty long, so here's a link to the thread, which hopefully sticks around a while, because every time support says the issue's fixed, it hoses itself again.

IF ALL OF THIS STUFF WORKED PROPERLY THERE WOULD BE NO NEED FOR WORK AROUNDS. THEY DON'T WORK FOR MOST PEOPLE ANYWAY. THE SITE IS A MESS! GET THAT THRU YOUR HEADS. WE NEED REAL HELP. A SITE THAT WORKS PROPERLY! IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?

how about a workaround the MY EBAY BETA that some of us cannot get out of? DUHHHHH


No one would help us here even if they could...those of us being stuck in the test cannot sell or buy...our computers are too old and the new BETA doesn't work with dialup..


I wonder if that was why we were chosen as subjects who could not opt out??

Try clearing history from tools, delete all files and then click refresh. Worked for me.
