Diane - Good news about your son. Not so good news about your husband. At least with all the extensions, unemployment will be in force for another year or so.

Audrey - Cause you are in england and that is the way it is supposed to be!

Donna - Now will your insurance pay for a new chair for you? Have you checked Craigslist in your area? I told you about that almost new one here that they paid $5,600 for and were asking $450. They seem to have quite a few of them on Craigslist because of the shipping logistics. You might be able to get a real deal, even if you have to travel a bit to get one.

Another source for these are nursing homes. They have oodles of regular wheelchairs to give away (which is where I got mine free that I keep in case of an emergency). I know on occasion, the families just donate the power chairs and they are available.

Now that I have the new knees I can get around fairly well although my left hip is giving me problems which I hope can be resolved with an injection after I see the Dr. in December. I did use a riding cart at Meijer the other day but this was after a long day of shopping and my hip was just throbbing.

You a such a blessing to me too!!! I can't take synthoid because it has sulfur in it and bothers my breathiing really bad. I have asthma. I just found that out yesterday. So I ordered some desssicated thyroid from a vitaman company. It had a lot of really good reviews, including weight loss, which I desperately need.

Going to turn in soon.

They just took one of my neighbors away in an ambulance. Could you please say a prayer for her. I don't know her, but God does. They had the gurney elevated under head upper body which probably means heart trouble.

I am doing well today. I slept late with all the rain.
No nightmares. Thank you Jesus.

Thank the Lord that the hurricane was downgraded before it hit so its mainly a little rain and wind.

Let's all pray for our brothers and sisters in the military at Ft. Hood having the memorial today. And let's keep all the fine souls in the military all over the world and here in our prayers for their protection and all their needs to be met.
