Prayer Request Thread

If you need prayer, please post it here and someone will be able to pray for and with you. We are a little cyber family where there is always room for one more. If you are down, we will lift you up, if you need to talk, we will listen. Whatever your situation, please know that you are not alone - one of us has probably been there. I agree with you, Roy. I watched part of it too. It was so very touching. Why don't they say it when muslims attck our people??? It is part of jihad against us and our love of freedom, and our people. Why don't they just say it???

I have been sleeping most of the day. I had a flu shot a couple of weeks ago for the first time (just the seasonal one) and I feel awful. First hot, then cold. I have to look up the swine flu symptoms as my lega, feet and arms feel so tight and are difficult to move.

Prayers for all who asked. I am worried abut Adrian too. She sent me a birthday card butt you cen maje those way ahead if time.

Back to bed for while.

TO ALL MY VERY DEAR LOVING FRIENDS

I know I owe you all and explanation and an apology as to why I haven't been posting, answering emails or answering my phone. I will start at the beginning.

Hubby has been taking me for long rides in the desert and mountains. We really haven't been home much. I have seen your phone numbers on my phone but please know I would have answered had I been home. I have only had the computer on for brief spells, (2 or 3 min) each day. I posted a couple of times on another board but didn't post on PRT until I could explain the entire story.

When I went to the Dr. last week he was alarmed about my weight loss and told me there were only a couple of things that might cause that unless I was dieting which I haven't been. He told me then it could be Diabetes or Lung Cancer. I had blood work done on Thursday and a CT on Friday. Mitch was trying to take me places and do things with me to keep my mind off what may be a very serious or terminal outcome of the tests.

I didn't post or answer emails because I couldn't stand to think about what may be wrong. Yes, I know I'm a coward. I surely hope and pray you all will forgive me!

Yesterday the phone rang and I saw it was the Dr's office. I honestly was shaking so badly I almost dropped the phone. The nurse was calling to tell me the results of my tests. Blood work was good, no Diabetes! The CT came back showing clear lungs! Thank You Jesus and Praise God! I have been a basket case for several days and it was a great weight lifted from my shoulders.

PLEASE all of you forgive me! I know I was probably wrong avoiding everyone but just couldn't talk about it. My sincerest apologies, I love you all and know you would have been there for me had I asked!

We all love you. We knew you were worried. I bet you are just hyperthyroid. That would make anyone lose weight a lot really fast. Why don't you ask him about that. I am sad that he frightened you like that!!!

Adrian - You scareded me!!!!!! We prayed! I agree with Donna. It sounded like hyperthyroidism to me too. My old cat has that and takes a pill every day for it. Unfortunately, mine is the other way around and I take a pretty high dosage of Synthroid (225 mcg.).

Donna - I get it but we are going to have to agree to disagree on this one. We have already lost more than on 9/11.

I do not know if this is the swine flu but I look and feel like death not even warmed over. I looked up the symptoms which I have but the could be indicative of many other things. Every joint hurts and I keep going from freezing to hot and back again.

I am going to take pills and go back to my bed
