Audrey - I am watching Susan Boyle on our Today show. Did she ever get to sing before the queen? I just love her along with the rest of the world.

Lyn I love that gif it is so so soooooooooooooo funny No Susan Boyle didn`t get to sing for the Queen. She did not win Britain you`ve got talent but a brilliant dance troupe did so they will be performing before Her Majesty. No matter I think Susan is doing better than her wildest dreams and I guess the timing was wrong as she was so fragile at that time having been booked in to a private clinic suffering from breakdown like symptoms.

Audrey - I see they have sure done a makeover on her and that the second half of her life is sure going to let her talent shine. She has the highest advanced sales of any cd, ever. I did see the dance group that one and they were most deserving. Now that Susan has been slowly re-introduced, she seems to be in a much stronger state. I think it was simply too much, too soon for her during the show. What a voice. Can you imagine her in a cathedral with brilliant acoustics?

BTW, I love Antiques Roadshow we have here and have been watching the one on BBC/America which has been on location frequently in Wales. It is just so beautiful there. I think of you when I watch it! On the US show, they will show something worth some fantastic amount and Ike will ask if we have one of those. So far, we have not and I am not looking to find anything soon!! LOL

Does Jesus Care?
Words by Frank E. Graeff
Music by J. Lincoln Hall
1901
1 Peter 5:7
"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."

Does Jesus care when my heart is pained
Too deeply for mirth or song,
As the burdens press, and the cares distress
And the way grows weary and long?

Refrain
Oh yes, He cares, I know He cares,
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary, the long nights dreary,
I know my Savior cares.
Does Jesus care when my way is dark
With a nameless dread and fear?
As the daylight fades into deep night shades,
Does He care enough to be near?

Refrain
Oh yes, He cares, I know He cares,
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary, the long nights dreary,
I know my Savior cares.
Does Jesus care when I've tried and failed
To resist some temptation strong;
When for my deep grief there is no relief,
Though my tears flow all the night long?

Refrain
Oh yes, He cares, I know He cares,
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary, the long nights dreary,
I know my Savior cares.

Does Jesus care when I've said "goodbye"
To the dearest on earth to me,
And my sad heart aches till it nearly breaks,
Is it aught to Him? Does He see?

Refrain
Oh yes, He cares, I know He cares,
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary, the long nights dreary,
I know my Savior cares.

I have been doing a little research about the Groundhog

The groundhog, or woodchuck, is one of 14 species of marmots. These rodents live a feast-or-famine lifestyle and gorge themselves all summer to build up plentiful reserves of fat. After the first frost, they retreat to their underground burrows and snooze until spring, drawing their sustenance from body fat. While hibernating, the animal's heart rate plunges, and its body temperature is not much warmer than the temperature inside its burrow.

Groundhog hibernation gave rise to the popular American custom of Groundhog Day, held on the second of February every year. Tradition dictates that if a groundhog sees its shadow that day, there will be six more weeks of winter, though such a prediction seems a sure bet over much of the groundhog's North American range.

In the spring, females welcome a litter of perhaps a half dozen newborns, which stay with their mother for several months.

Groundhogs are the largest members of the squirrel family. Though they are usually seen on the ground, they can climb trees and are also capable swimmers. These rodents frequent the areas where woodlands meet open spaces, like fields, roads, or streams. Here they eat grasses and plants as well as fruits and tree bark. Groundhogs are the bane of many a gardener. They can decimate a plot while voraciously feeding during the summer and fall seasons.

We wish you a Merry Christmas;
We wish you a Merry Christmas;
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Good tidings we bring to you and your kin;
Good tidings for Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Oh, bring us a figgy pudding;
Oh, bring us a figgy pudding;
Oh, bring us a figgy pudding and a cup of good cheer
We won't go until we get some;
We won't go until we get some;
We won't go until we get some, so bring some out here

We wish you a Merry Christmas;
We wish you a Merry Christmas;
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Words to Angels Carol – John Rutter
1. Have you heard the sounds of the angel voices ringing out so sweetly, ringing out so clear? Have you seen the star shining out so brightly as a sign from God that Christ the Lord is here? Have you heard the news that they bring from heaven to the humble shepherds who have waited long? Gloria in excelsis Deo! Gloria in excelsis Deo! Hear the angels sing their joyful song.

2. He is come in peace in the winter's stillness, like a snowfall in the gentle night. He is come in joy. He is come in joy, like the sun at morning, filling all the world with radiance and with light. He is come in love as the child of Mary. In a simple stable we have seen his birth. Gloria in excelsis Deo! Gloria in excelsis Deo! Hear the angels singing 'Peace on earth'.

3. He will bring new light. He will bring new light to a world in darkness, like a bright star shining in the skies above. He will bring new hope. He will bring new hope to the waiting nations. When he comes to reign in purity and love. Let the earth rejoice. Let the earth rejoice at the Saviour's coming. Let the heavens answer with the joyful morn: Gloria in excelsis Deo! Gloria in excelsis Deo! ||: Hear the
