My dear friends,

I wish that I could post on every board because you are all so special to me, but I hope that I can gather you together here in the Park.. just for now.. to create one final memory.

It deeply saddens me to tell you that I will be leaving eBay this weekend after nearly six years as a Pink. It has been a truly wrenching decision for me. eBay has been a second home to me and the wonderful people I work with have been like family. You are just the best, and I love you all. Especially my beloved little team of pinkies. Thank you for making me feel so loved in return.

I have been incredibly lucky to be part of this grand experiment! But even more, I have been given the great gift of being allowed to be a part of YOUR lives, here on the boards. You will never know how much I appreciate the kindness and warmth you have shown me over the years, and how often I have laughed and cried right along with you. I have enjoyed all of you more than I can ever say and feel deeply blessed to be able to call you my friends.

My emotions are mixed as I move forward to a new chapter in my life. There comes a time for everyone to move on and though I will GREATLY miss everything eBay has been to me, I am also looking forward to having the time (and energy!) for some exciting new pursuits and spending more time with my RL family.

Soo....I'm packing up the pink boa and cleaning the candy wrappers out of the desk, but I could not leave without saying goodbye and thank you to all of you here. And wishing you all the very best in your lives!

I hope you know that in some way I will be around, because eBay will always be a part of my life. Perhaps I'll try a little more selling and get those closets cleaned out!

So, the next time a stranger posts on one of your boards - be kind! It just might be your old pal Katy! And you know I'm new to this.
