They went at 5 o'clock in the morning, so it wasn't too bad going down. The worst part was the traffic on the way home. They had to deal with the bad storms. He said it was so bad that the truck was swerving all over the road. The big 18 wheelers were pulling off the road because of the wind.

Hubby is done with his physical therapy for his shoulder and arm. He is still going for what I call "memory therapy" for his short term memory problem. He was supposed to go twice a week but has been cut back to only once a week. He was told that he may not be able to go back to his work at the nursing facility due to the nature of the work (multi tasking) and the stress level. Also, his employer would have to be willing to follow the recommendations of the therapist and his neurologist. The memory loss will get worse and there is a possibility that he has extremely early signs of dementia.

Time? Find Time???? I'm not sure.... I just "DO".
But I AM finding myself saying "No" more often than I use to when asked to help/volunteer for things.
And GOOD NEWS on the interview last nite.
Went REALLY well and sounds like a good match.
they won't be "Looking" to fill the position until end of July which works really well for me. Altho the other interview I had last week, the position doesnt open until September/October which might be even better. So fingers crossed that I get a really good offer from one or the other, or hopefully something else that is even better shows up!
And remember when I started here, that we were UP on the 27th floor and I loved it?? (and then last year we got moved DOWNSTAIRS to 12/13) Well last nite's firm is getting ready to move from their present location to the building Behind where I am now and UP on the 30th floor. How cool would that be!!
so i'm a happier camper today than I was for the past couple of days. The nervousness has resided and looking forward to future changes. NOT my typical state of mind, since normally I hate change.
LOVE YOU GUYS. Thanks for your thoughts/prayers/good wishes and YOUR SUPPORT. the past few years have been SUCH a roller-coaster!

and they are calling for great weather in the mountains at Pocono. Hey I had alot of great race weekends, so I shouldnt be complaining. 
they are calling for some FAST speeds with the new track surface. and i'm missing it... boohooo...
but with layoffs coming, I'm trying to be good and not spend on "frivolous" expenses...
i am SO tempted to just go anyways.....

Hey guys.
This is my "week from down below".
The week before the 4th of July celebrations.
Going door to door to deliver Activity Programs and solicit funds for the activities, Friday and Saturday are Parade Registration Days. Gotta get to the store to stock up on Sodas and Waters, hot dogs and buns.
so much fun.
I can't wait until July 10th when I know (HOPE) all is finished (with no rain dates).
And our Committee has been hard hit with personal problems and health issues, so we are down to last minute scrambling, trying to cover all bases with fewer and fewer volunteers...
I WILL SURVIVE. and then (My Infamous Line...) I think I will resign this year.... (never happens).
So, hopefully I'll do some quick fly-bys the next week or so, but if I'm MIA, dont worry...
