Old timers from the Park,

Been sitting around recently thinking about all the great times we had here at The Park,, I can remember when it was started, I think it was "PINK" Jackie who started it. Myself I have had many good times here and I now have many good memories,, I met the lady I cared about the most here and remember all the great Ebay friends who chipped in and gve us many words of encouragement when she was sick. It was a great online family of friends and we even had a few get togethers here in my neighborhood, thans to everyone who knew I could not travel. I miss so many of those friends and thought of maybe starting this thread to ask all our old friends to stop in and say hello.
All I wish to ask is they stop in ,,, post a comment with no catch, just say hello. I still think about so many of them and some I wonder how life is going for them. We seen to have broken up over facebook and other crazy things. I am getting old, don't know how much longer I will be around (of course none of us do) but would like to say hello or at least read a hello post from many of our old Park friends.
So, if you are in touch with any of the folks that used to post here,, please ask them to at least stop by and say hello.. I do want to thank Ebay for giving me the chance to sell many things and be able to meet many new folks over the years.
I will try to email or send notes to any I can think of, I just think it would be nice to say hello for maybe one last time.

Most of us "park oldtimers" sort of gave up here because the posts were so infrequent once they went to facebook.
Before then, Well, I was too busy with my crazy work schedule and never could keep up with the threads and who was who. I would sign in 24 hours later and some had 10 more pages of posts. Like yours. 
But I always play the games and am so glad some others are playing them again.
Usually I know when you're feeling down. You miss Corrine and post or bump up her thread.

Hi Ffuts, I'm still here. Been hot lately. I stay inside infront of a fan most days. One day it was 103. Been in the mid 90's for about 2 weeks now.
I wasn't involved in the begining but I did/do enjoy he interaction between us all. Maybe I will rattle Mimi's cage and see what she is up to.

Hi harve, I started out in the night owls in 03 and like you said we had many good times and friends . But sence facebook came along it robbed many of the folks from these threads.
I thought i was crazy , but the voices behind my couch said
it wasn`t true.

I was a refugee (maybe escapee) from the FB board 10 or 11 years ago. The Park was opened to all who wanted a flame free place to share. Lots has changed since then. I miss the Pinks who participated, elfie, occasional Pink calls to participate in various groups. Some oldtimers just went "Poof!" A few I've kept in touch with.

seems nice enough here, but not much posting takes place. Like Night Owls, but again, not much posting tho I do enjoy the games.

Just a thought as to why alot of "old timers" haven't checked in. Could it be that it has been so long since they've been here that they've forgotten their ebay passwords?

*Waves* Hello from Mosquitoville! We are all well and busy with RL.
My 17 year-old son wrecked the car in Galveston this weekend. No injuries, just his third fender bender... "and that's all I have to say about that," said with best Forrest Gump voice.
Next blue moon I will peek back in to see how it's going.

Last I heard,, the girls (my daughters) are coming down on Sat. Nov. 10th to celebrate my birthday. Ya oughta come down. They have the room at the hotel reserved so we can all visit.

I miss the fun here too. I have been busy with other things and haven't had time for posting. We sure did get a lot of laughs here and that's what I remember. There are those eBay friends that I miss. Sometimes life just leads us down other paths.
My path is still busy!

It's been a pleasure and a treasure to be your pal who has to listen to you for hours on the phone. Hahahahaha

anyways yes hi ffuts, was some great times on this board, I didn't always post but I loved to read it and facebook is so impersonal, now a days I mainly just read, watch tv or take care of grand daughters
