Hola, Could any you good folks recommend an online or hard copy price guide for non-sports trading cards.  I have been buying Addams Family and Space Cards and suspect I am over-paying.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks,

I dont know about the cards you named specifically typically price is dependant on what buyers are willing to pay. Usually google and Ebay are best references for pricing.

If you plan on selling on eBay checking completed listings here would be your best price guide. If you find cards not on eBay at all after the completed item sites, there are ways online to get a good idea. One thing i do is i find a store that sells singles of the type of cards you are trying to find prices for, but note that thes eprices tend to be higher than anyone in eBay would pay for them, and only should be used as a reference to see if it is actually worth selling on eBay. If none of those options work, they are probably not popular and I would try to sell the whole lot in one shot.

The Sport Americana guides to non-sports cards provide useful for information on many of the non-sport cards out there. I believe that there are 5 of them covering different eras. They are a must for any non-sport card collector. The price guides in those books are outdated, however, as most of them are decades old

For a more accurate price guide, check out the non sport card update which comes out every couple of months. It has a price guide in every issue although it's not the best reference for some obscure company issued sets.

The SMR report issued by PSA every two months also has a non-sport section. Although the mags are only available to PSA members, some copies are available on e-bay and worth checking out.
