Description: eBay Sellers can generate buyer demand during the holiday season by offering Free Shipping and Get It Fast (overnight) shipping on their listings. Using search filters, buyers can easily find such listings on eBay. In this workshop, we will explain to sellers how to create listings that will appear when buyers search for either Free Shipping or Get It Fast (overnight) shipping.

We'd like to make you aware of two Shipping-related filters that currently exist on the site -- buyers can use them to sort on the search results page. They are the Free Shipping filter and the Get It Fast filter. Get It Fast is expedited, overnight shipping.

From a sellers' perspective, it's important to be aware of how to create listings that get tagged by these filters because -- as you've probably noticed -- eBay promotes listings that offer Free Shipping and Get It Fast Shipping on its website and through emails to prospective buyers.

Here are instructions for how to appear in the Free Shipping filter:

1. Select "Flat Rate" for Shipping type.

2. Enter Shipping Cost as $0

3. Select any Shipping service except "Local delivery/pickup" or "Other (see description)."

3. Do not require Insurance. You can offer optional insurance.

Here are instructions for how to appear in the Get It Fast filter:

1. Create listings in any of the following formats: Auction with Buy It Now, Fixed Price, or Store Inventory Format

2. Offer overnight shipping service as one of the shipping options so buyers can Get It FAST. Overnight shipping services are U.S. Postal Service Express Mail, UPS Next Day Air, UPS Next Day Air Saver, Overnight (Flat Rate) Shipping Service

3. Offer one business day handling time -- must ship within one business day of receiving cleared payment from buyer

4. And be sure to check the Get It Fast option in the Shipping and sales tax area of the Sell Your Item form

If you'd like, you can specify Free Shipping for Domestic (and not International) shipping.

I'd like to call out an important point -- to show up in our Free Shipping filter, you must offer Free Shipping on your first shipping service. But to show up in our Get it Fast filter, you must offer an overnight shipping service (but not necessarily set as your first shipping service)

Good. Thanks. How about if a seller wants the auction to be a bid auction, but with a Buy It Now that specifies Free Overnight Shipping if they use a Buy it Now only(not applicable to bidding).
