First off, let’s talk about what exactly Email Marketing is. Email Marketing is a feature available only to eBay Store sellers. It is a great way to promote your items. The tool allows you to quickly and easily send promotional messages to your subscribers who have opted-in to your email list and encourages buyers to return to your eBay Store.

Some of the benefits to using Email Marketing are:
- building strong customer relationships
- turning browsers into buyers
- getting buyers to purchase from you again and again!

We have seen that sellers who use Email Marketing have experienced a higher level of repeat business.

Your Emails are known as "Newsletters" to buyers. There are several ways to get buyers to subscribe to your newsletter.
Buyers will need to click on the "Add to Favorite Stores" & "Sign up for Store newsletter" links that appear in the following locations:
- On every Store page
- On your About Me Page
- All View Item pages
- Seller Profile Page
We also recommend that you encourage buyers to opt-in to your mailings by promoting your newsletters in all communication with buyers.

How do you check to see if you already have subscribers, you ask?
It is very easy! Simply log in to “My eBay” and click on the “Manage My Store” link on the left navigation bar. From here click on the “Email Marketing” link. The summary page will display the total number of subscribers to your mailing lists.

To create an email, click on the “create email” button that is found on most of the pages within the Email Marketing section of Stores. On the Email Marketing: Summary page, the Create Email button appears in the upper left-hand corner of the page.

After you press the “Create Email” button, you get brought into the email creation process. On the first step you are asked to select a type of email you want to send as well as pick out a layout style that you want to use. If you use this default content, your email and layout will be selected for you automatically. You can also start from scratch by choosing your own content and layout.

On the next page, you select the recipients from your mailing lists. Remember, buyers who subscribe to your newsletter want to hear from you. They do not consider this spam so reach out to them!

On this page you can schedule the email to go out on a recurring basis, modify the content and the layout of the email, add your listing frame to the email, as well as add in your feedback profile on every email that you send out.

Once you are finished on this page you can complete the sending of the email by clicking on “Preview & Continue.” On the next page you will get a chance to preview the email before you send it out.

With the new email marketing design, I can no longer look at the sent emails and see how many buyers clicked on an item, OR clicked on my store. I miss this feature.
