What is Store Inventory Format?

If you have an eBay Store, you can stock it with additional fixed price (Buy It Now) items that might not be cost-effective for you to include in regular eBay listings. Benefits of the Store Inventory format:
• List for just $0.02 for each 30-day period, regardless of quantity.
• List for longer durations - 30, 60, 90, 120 days, or Good 'Til Cancelled.
• Use the Gallery picture feature for just $0.01.
Store Inventory items appear in your eBay Store alongside your Online Auction and Fixed Price items.

When buyers visit your Store, they will see all of your listings – in all formats.

You can identify which selling format applies to each listing by looking in the Format column in My eBay-Selling, Selling Manager or Selling Manager Pro. In last week’s release, we made the Format column visible in My eBay, though this column can be hidden if you prefer, by clicking on the Customize link at the top right.

Changing items or the information about them is a real pain. Up to now everything had to be done one item at a time. Is this changed?

eBay Workshop: Managing Your Store Inventory Format Listings - August 17th

Right now i have everything in an Excel worksheet I would like to finish the info there and then upload it into my newly opened store that has nothingin it yet.
Seems there are MANY ways to do this and I would like to take the correct approach now if I am going to pay for it later!
Please advise?

eBay Workshop: Managing Your Store Inventory Format Listings - August 17th

Today I started entering my first fixed price listing in my ebay store. I was nearly through it but hadn't specified shipping information when I was prompted to upgrade my Paypal account. I did so, but this booted me out of my listing on ebay. Now I can't seem to get back into the listing to finish editing it. How do I get back into it?

Editing Store Inventory Format listings

You can edit a Store Inventory Format listing individually or save time by (1) editing multiple Store Inventory listings at once or (2) applying a single change tomultiple listings.

Start by selecting a single Store Inventory Format listing or multiple Store Inventory listings from the Items I'm Selling view of My eBay by clicking the checkboxes next to each listing.

Then click on the Edit button next to “Store Inventory actions”. (Selling Manager Pro users can do this by going to the Active Listings view.)

If I can change to another management program later, that's fine. then I won't worry about it now. But if I start with Turbo Lister and want to use SMPro later, can I make this change?

On the Edit Store Inventory Items page, edit the fields for each listing as needed, and click Continue OR

If you want to make the same change to multiple listings at once, click on “Bulk Edit” at the top of the page.

Note: If you want to Bulk Edit, you must do this first before making edits to the Edit Store Inventory Listings page. If you start by editing one listing at a time on this page, and then click on the Bulk Edit link at the top of the page, your previous edits will not be saved.

eBay Workshop: Managing Your Store Inventory Format Listings - August 17th

Aug 17, 2005 2:09 PM
I have a question. I list books in regular auction. If they don't sell, I put them in stores inventory. I go through one by one doing a "sell similar", putting them in store format, then going through 3-4 pages of item description, pictures, shipping information before I can list them. Did about 10 books this AM with about another 30 here to do. Eventually, will have 2,000 - 3,000 books in stores. Is there a quicker way to "relist" these from regular unsold items to stores? Thank you.
