Hi Eric (#22),
The PayPal Label printing solution supports First Class domestic, but does not support First Class Mail International. First Class does have a weight limitation of 13 ounces, so if you go over, you will not be able select this service.

What is the difference in UPS and USPS as far as the PayPal system is concerned? When I start selling, I want to use UPS, but seems like Paypal prefers USPS. Is there a cost difference "tween them?

hum.

two weeks ago, I sold two screen protector for Iphone.

I could not pay with Paypal Shipping Label as First Class Domestic.

The screen protector weight only 3 ounces.

I have to make a risk and go the post office and send them as first class mail domestic without tracking number.

Are you 100% positive on that?

So I decide to not sell those items anymore because of that issue.

Hi Sue, #23

Yes, you have the ability to cancel a transaction even after you've entered all the information. Your PayPal account only gets charged for the shipping label after you've clicked to print. You also have to option to void the label even after it has been printed. You should see a refund within 48 hours. Thanks.

Hi ParadiseTreasure (26, 27),
Ah, I see, I should have been more clear in my answer. You can print first class mail for parcels, because delivery confirmation is available on this service, but you cannot print first class for letters or flats.

So far I have shipped everything USPS using the PayPal shipping label printing with no problem. It was nice to just walk around the line at the Post Office today and place my already labeled cartons on the counter, not having to wait to have weighed and pay. I would like to give UPS a try, but the rates just seem so much higher than USPS, and I get the USPS Priority boxes for free. Most of all I ship is 4 pounds and under. Am I missing something? Thanks and happy holidays! -- Jim

Hi timecatchers (#21)
Here's some information on SCAN forms (i.e) Shipment Confirmation Acceptance Notice.

The SCAN form is available to be printed out when you use the PayPal Multi-Order Shipping Solution (MOS). It contains a master barcode that represents all the packages in a shipment. When your packages are received by the Postal Service, this single scan enters all of your associated packages into the database as “Shipment Accepted”. This status will show up to buyers through the “Order Details” in my eBay.

You can check with your local Post Master about the availability of acceptance scans by your letter carrier.

Thanks,
--Anar

Hi paupershophopper, (#20)

Adding measurements and weight in the MultiOrder shipping tool works the same way it does with the single label application; you should have no trouble creating a label if you already are familiar with the single label tool. We include a reference number on each shipping label so you can match it back to the original eBay transaction in the MultiOrder tool.

RE: 32
Thanks Anar...

Apparently it does not increase or do more to insure PayPal Seller protection then.

To me it eliminates to the advantage of not having to stand in line at the PO and therefore not worth it. At least for now and until the carriers can scan.

Hi SuzyDsells, (#25)

You are encouraged to user either UPS or USPS. PayPal does not assign preference to either option. Depending on the specific service type, package weight, and dimensions there will likely be a difference in price. The main reason for differences in price is some services are faster than others and may include additional features such as tracking and delivery confirmation.
