There was a time before My eBay pages that looking for a way to leave feedback was like drilling for oil through granite.

Fortunately it is now part of the auction listing on your My eBay page and it even tracks when you have or have not left it yet.

So now we don't have granite anymore, straight shot to the oil *g*

simimi, I see you downloaded Turbolister, that's a great tool, have you downloaded the free eBay Toolbar yet? Another great option

Hi! I am interested in learning about sellers techniques for using my ebay in keeping track of sales and payments. I have come up with my own system by trial and error but would appreciate any help from more experienced sellers. Thanks! jules788sales

What is the difference between the ebay toolbar and the list of functions at the top of each ebay page?

If you reply to a message form another user with your email rather than form My eBay does it show up on the My eBay page?

My eBay keeps track of your transactions for you and allows you track your auctions and sales. If you go to the Selling link under All Selling on the toolbar you will be able to understand them.

Also you might opt in to one of the Sellers Groups in the Community Groups forum mentioned in post #21 for more specific information about how experienced sellers manage their accounts

Thanks for asking

How can you down load the informatoin from the My eBay page to Quick Books?

I have been entering everything manually into an excell spread sheet and this is very time consuming and can have errors in typing in the long auction numbers.

Good question mckinleyenterprises. The eBay toolbar is permanently on your browser and will help you keep track of transactions by alerts etc. It also alerts your if your password is being compromised, if you have auctions ending, etc.

I find it a great way to keep track of things even if I'm not logged onto ebay.

my "sent" messages are getting numerous. Can they ever be deleted or will they just keep adding pages?

mckinleyenterprises, it is my understanding that if you reply to the messages through eBay then it will show up in your My Messages, however if you reply through private email from your server, it will not.

Does that help?

If you have your computer in a public location (store front) can the tool bar be locked to prevent unauthorized use of your account?
