Welcome! My name is JP O'Brien. It is an honor to be hosting this workshop today. I especially like speaking to and working with eBay Sellers because you are all entrepreneurs. And like you, I too am an entrepreneur. Some say I am a serial entrepreneur since I am now on my third startup company. Currently, I am the founder and CEO of KeepMore.net, the world's simplest accounting solution for small business owners, and we are an eBay Certified Solution Provider.

Just the other day, my brother and I got into one of those conversations about success and how to be more successful (perhaps you know the kind of late night conversation I am referring to). He asked me if success, monetary success and especially business success came easy to me - and that made me really think.

The true driver of success as an entrepreneur is my practice of creating, writing down and publicly sharing my goals on a regular basis. So today, I am honored to share with you my process and 5 simple steps you can take to setting goals for yourself.

Now on my third successful startup, I am a true believer in the magic of goal setting. And I should point out that this is not "uga-buga" magic, this is "straight-up-it-works" magic. Let's get started.

I encourage you to help those around you (business partners, employees, good customers, vendor, and even family) discover and create their own goals.

Here comes the interactive part of our workshop... Pull out a pen and paper. Write down 3 goals for yourself. When I am creating my goals, I try not to create goals too interrelated - pick goals that will drive you in different areas of your life. For example, pick one business, one financial, and one personal goal.
