Some ebay seller stole photos of my motorcycle off another website and is using my photo to sell his parts. The part on my bike is over $500 and is a Corbin....the part he is selling is some generic aftermarket part not worth anywhere close to mine. I've reported this to ebay.....and they wont do anything. I sold an item and put insurance on it. With USPS insurance, you can't track it online. So apparently my buyer thought he could get away with saying he didn't receive it. But I was able to call my post office, give them the insurance number, and they let me know it was delivered on November 16th around 3PM. I shipped it November 12th. It is obviously now November 24th. The buyer kept claiming not to have received it, but after I told him what my post office told me, he hasn't responded.... (More)

Hi What does eveybody think about sellers being responsible for items until they reach the buyer. I think that is unfair as I can not follow the item after it is turned over to the shipper. I have had items that i put delivery confirmation on and then the post office lost them. I was found at fault and had to refund the money. I do not think that i should be responsible for shippers errors. What do you all think on that. (More)

So I win the auction and the seller tells me that he is not going to complete the transaction because the items didn't go high enough (no reserve) which is not my fault. I bought a book listed as brand new. Item 110443386358. The book appears to be unread, but the dustjacket is so worn that the blue is now white around the edges of the book. Yeah, I read about ebay adding advertising for other items to our sold item pages. Now I am not so happy with it. They advertise almost EXACTLY what the buyer just purchased. Of the items I saw displayed, six were for the EXACT same item - and two of them were CHEAPER than our buyer had paid. That is a great formula for irritating a buyer - showing a lower price right after they commit a purchase. If ebay is going to advertise, they should at least make sure they are showing the buyer... I recently won an auction on the 16th. I paid the 18th. Is this an unreasonable amount of time to pay? The seller emailed me twice on the 17th demanding I pay. I WORK FOR A LIVING and do not have access to Ebay at work. I also commute and stay when I work, so don't have access for the entire time I'm there.
