We have our much beloved Sniping Revival Thread. We have also encountered the earlier proxy that beats the snipe. I have decided that we need to honor and acknowledge these early proxy winners. I see it is being done by people successfully. They are busy bidding and buying a particular item, but when I try to view the items, ebay says they have had to block the viewing due to a Paris law decision which unfortunately may affect items not directly relating to the decision ... so how on earth are other buyers managing to do this? I see new listings for these items, but there again... how are people managing to do this? (More)

Please explain how a bidder can be outbid when the clock already shows -1 minute. I was sitting right there for the last nine minutes of bidding to be sure I had the high bid. My bid was the high bid through the last minute of bidding. This was not the first time I've experienced this. (More)

OMG !!!! DON'T buy these coupon cards from these shyster sellers ! You can walk into ANY Macy's store and get them for FREE !!!!! FOR FREE !!!!! I am amazed that anyone would do this !! Buyer Beware !!!! I just saw an auction where someone has already bid nearly $16.00 for one of these cards !! Macy's employees selling these - you WILL lose your job if you are caught! What if a member lies about the reason for retracting bids? He claims that I changed the listing but I didn't and also claimed that he couldn't get in touch with me, but I responded to him and even posted answers to his questions on my listings. Why does eBay allow this to happen? (More)

eBay says my Second Chance to buy an item has expired but the expiration date is tomorrow. A seller offered me a second chance to buy an item because I was the highest bidder for an item with a reserve price. It says that the second chance expires on Nov. 25. However, when I go to buy the item, it says that my chance has expired. What the heck? What happened? Did I just get screwed somehow? Or am I missing something?
