Lesportsac question... :)

Feb 19, 2009 11:21 AM
Hi everyone :)

I posted on the Shoes etc board, but it seems slower than this one. Can anyone tell me if there is a site to authenticate/identify lesportsac bags?

I have what appears to be a nwot's small bag with a coin/id wallet -- similar to the tour de france pattern but with NYC/Manhattan on it.

I can post pic's here too, if anyone can help?

Thank you!

You'd need to post pictures, for sure. :)

Can do! :) It's even better if someone can identify it for me, LOL -- I'm having a heck of a time finding a lesportsac forum or id site!

You can look on the official website for the style name - they show everything in plain white and they seem to repeat the same styles for years. I've never found a source for IDing old/discontinued patterns, but that is distinctive enough you should be able to find one on eBay using "new york" or "manhattan" or "map" as KWs.

anyone else?

I can't find a single bag in this pattern ANYWHERE.

I can't find an ID/Authentification site either.

Thank you -- wasn't sure if I needed that or not -- I didn't think MAP, I'll try that too! :)

There's no authentication site and very few LS experts. The closest I've found to a source for ID'ing patterns is a Japanese site that you have to sort of grope your way thru since it's not searchable in English, but if you have some spare time you may want to try it.

I'm guessing this may be a limited release bag or maybe even an exclusive made for a specific market, but you may be able to find in on the PukiWiki site - here's the link:
