Large Copper Charger Old? New? Trash? Treasure? Help TY

I couldn't resist this large copper Charger! Does anyone have any thoughts? I have looked over the piece carefully and did not find any signature. Googled and couldn't find one quite like it. Would this be considered Arts Crafts? Thank you for any info you can provide!

I think the hanger makes it a newer piece

It is a nice period style though

They look nearly identical when lacking color/size references

The crane is most often used as it has symbolic meaning - usually Oriental

Do you think I should start researching in Asian category? Does it look like its a massed produced piece?

If it is marked, it is likely near the hanger

Check with a magnet to be sure it is not plated steel

It appears to be molded and the mold would have produced many more. Although not so many, as it appears to be not commonly found for sale.

OK Took out my loupe and found a small mark that looks like a small raised sqiggly circle near the hanger. Did the magnet test and it doesn't stick. The edge isn't smooth. It feels bumpy when you run your finger across it. I wish I could find something similar to compare to! You know, this one piece will drive me crazy!

Thank You Susan! When I saw it, I just had to have it! It arrived today and I couldn't wait to look at it. If you look at the back closely, you can see some of the copper showing through. I wish I could pin point a time frame. Any thoughts??

It is Beautiful! I can't help you date it but I do think it could possible be a phoenix bird rather than a crane. I looks asian inspired to me.
