Bridezillas $60 item Return for any reason

Jul 2, 2009 6:53 AM
:^O brand new 0 FB Does NOT know even how to check the caculated shipping to her zip or even how to make the purchase.

Buyer needs hand holding throughout whole process to even buy it , no clue at all on how to make the purchase

$60 fragile item + around $12 ship cost too.
She made a pest of herself & i was trying to help her out for over 2 hrs before she even asked the ? that got her blocked .;)

Do you accept returns for any reason ? like say after i get it , If it does not fit my needs can i just return it :_|

My reply:basically said

I do not offer refunds unless it is my error If you are unsure that it will fit your needs? It would best to not buy it.

Well her reply back was hostile & rude so my seller instinct to BBL was correct B-)

Why do buyers get stupid ?:( when they want something & it is only 1 just like it listed on ebay or other online places too . Do they NOT realize that they should be nice & not get hostile & rude towards the seller when the seller was trying to help them out:(

Now the buyer found out they were BBL & still wants to buy it LOL yea right not in this lifetime B-)

Once you get rude & hostile with me you lost the chance to buy it & no matter how nice ;) you get AFTER being rude hostile with me. Knowing you are BLOCKED .will i remove your ID from BBL. just so you can buy it , use it for wedding, then return it used {maybe making a false claim to do so } get a refund from PP with me getting a now USED item back, NEG FB & DSR hits, out shipping costs ETC.

Why do some buyers think sellers are stupid B-) Of course i could use the sale , 1 of the reasons i tried to help her out , But not at my expense of anything more then time wasted already :(

No more, if my instinct says BBL from the start then I BBL instead of wasting time & still BBL in the end because I do not want to risk time money & the item being damaged or smashed too by buyer NOT packing it as securely as i did in shipping it to her if i had to accept a return .

Bill Cobb describes critics as just 'bad sellers'.

JD Hoe describes critics as just 'noise-makers'.

So... business as usual. At least for the Ebay CHEERLEADERS and board of directors.

brand new 0 FB Does NOT know even how to check the caculated shipping to her zip or even how to make the purchase.

And this is unusual how? If a buyer is brand new, I would assume they would need a little hand holding.

And while I too would have blocked the buyer after all of that - why assume the buyer was going to wear the dress and return it?

Brand new buyer might have been worried about, fit, style, etc.

Someone pass me an explanation and a tanq on the rocks please.

"My reply:basically said" When I see a statement like that my first thought is that the reply was far from basic.

I don't find anything hostile or rude about this reply. Your buyer was being too sensitive, imo.

Thanks for blocking her, op. She sounds like a very unbalanced and disturbed individual. The type of buyer ebay attracts.:(

I doubt that a wedding dress or veil would be fragile.
Are you talking about something glass?

Blocking a buyer because they ask a question before bidding, which is what everyone here suggests, is not right. Virtualwhimsy was right when she said new buyers might need a little hand holding. What's the problem with helping a buyer through her first purchase AND making some money in the process? I swear, some of you sellers shoot yourselves in the foot over nothing.

Jealyn.

It's a simple question, and IMO is not hostile or indicative of a PITA.

How would you feel if you went to Macy's, asked about their return policy, and the salesclerk said "get out"?

Come on.............

Well there are questions and then there are QUESTIONS.
Anyone that I had to spend 2 hrs. holding their hand is a warning sign to me.

That is just me, if you choose not to block then that is your option.

That is just MY opinion.

While sellers can block anyone for any reason ...

Well her reply back was hostile & rude

That would have put the nail in the coffin if the seller was me.

However, OPs overall tone is kind of disturbing.

Pretty hostile and mocking.

Hostile and rude? Says the seller.

We didn't see the emails so we have to take the seller's word for it. I for one will not, because it's all hearsay (sp?).

And that's MY opinion. Agree to disagree. ;)

Yup. Which is exactly why I'm not siding with the seller on this one.
