That's a healthy list, some of the items included have been a bug in our craw for what seems like an eternity although it has been no longer than about 15-16 months

IThe maintenance update back in Sep/Oct, didn't address nearly as much (did it ever take place?) but finally, according to the list, changes that were detrimental to the community engagement experience that started happening nearly 2 years ago are getting their due fix. Hate to sound cynical before seeing the scheduled changes  - just that many of these now addressed shortcomings were first pointed out in May/June of 2011. (or earlier, as we were shown on eBay.uk what was to come)

But, despite the lag, we certainly welcome the update - bring it on!

the change to uniformity will mean:

• images uploaded from web sites will have text wrap options of no/left/right that currently images uploaded from your computer do

OR

• NO images will have ability to text wrap - that's uniformity in the extreme

Maybe you never uploaded from your hard drive instead of the cloud but in the process of uploading images from hard drive one is presented with options of right or left text flow which DOES NOT WORK.

Very Well. (example included, will attempt same after upgrade) (Right text wrap means the text is to the left in eBay speak even though a reasonable person might presume right text wrap actually means teh text wraps around to the right)

I'm not sure what you see when you do this, but in eBay speak this is correct. If you select Text wrap RIGHT, the text wraps to the right and the icon in the pic (the illustration of the effect) is correct and is on the left.

When I choose "Right" from the options it does indeed put the pic on the left and the text on the right. When I then go to the Preview window, the text is moved to underneath and when it is posted, it is underneath.

I think we can agree the image wrap works in Edit mode but not in Preview or Post modes.

Will we be able to get in here tomorrow?

One thing that is not fixed is that images uploaded with the paperclip STILL don't automatically insert themselves into the text, even through the box is checked.  When you do it manually, no further text can be added to a message.  Type all you want, but it won't be in what actually posts. 

Some upgrade, guys.  The last one messed up the image attachment and this one didn't fix the problem.

The "paperclip" has been removed?

And on the Groups platform, there is no paperclip at all (although there was about a half hour ago an "image posting box" that opened in front of the text typing box, which is now gone.)

No way to post images from your own computer at all? Why?

Kudos to eBay for the drag and drop images from computer to posting area - Super improvement!

HAH!  Another fine mess you've brought us, eBay.

3 times I've just attempted to drag a picture into posting area and 3 timnes all I get is a full image replacing entire web page and click back and I even lose everything I typed (it returns to post read instead of post reply)

Bring us back teh paperclip, PLEASE. Even if you are NEVER EVER going to allow text wrap (and kept leading us on with the optino displayed) at least allow us to upload an image from our own computers instead of having to do the alternative: which is upload our pics to a third party site and then nsert as if they were culled from anywhere on the web.

Meanwhile let's see if this works: Nope, cannot upload a document from Word, file type not supported.  Neither is pdf. Only plain text (txt)

Meanwhile I typed additional sentence(s) after my above post that mysteriously disappeared.

The gist was that inserting an xml document requires a person viewing to log in on a pop up window that gives no indication that it is ecure or not so no thank you I will NOT log in when already logged in.

On another note>

The New Topic and New Topic with Poll buttons appear as truncated or disappear depending on whether I zoom in or out on a page and has nothing to do with monitor resolution.  At one setting only the buttons appear normal, but it is a zoom level at which I have difficulty reading the page.  Thank you once again for the enjoyable eBay experience
