Semi Trucks on Interstate Highways - Dangerous

There needs to be a "truck only" lane on all roadways that is completely separate from all other traffic.  Any truck with a box greater than the height of a standard vehicle needs to be limited to that lane only.  Any deviation would result in immediate arrest and impound of the vehicle.

You cannot see the road signs because these vehicles block the view and you cannot see the traffic lights due to their height.

If you're close enough to where you can't see road signs and traffic lights, you're to close.

Have a great day

Because people need to buy special mirrors to see up and around those vehicles and those are sold on eBay.

I drove for 25 years in and around Norfolk VA. Thousands of trucks passed through Norfolk International Terminal,  the world's largest Naval Base and the Ford Assembly Plant every day. Sometimes it looked like a 5 mIle long convoy on I-64.

This was when truckers were professional drivers. They stayed in the far right lane and let people in that were trying to exit.  They would also get over or slow up for cars trying to enter the highway.  You would flash your lights before you passed a truck and they would flash their lights when it was safe to pull back in.

You rarely see that anymore.

People are mean now. They forgot how to be kind.

Take the time to smell the roses.
