Did you get an email offering $15 if you signed up for MP before Dec 1 instead of waiting until Dec 31?

I did, and I just noticed that my coupons are now available and expire within the next 10 days or so (Dec 18th or 19th). 

I didn't get any notification message, I just happened to notice the coupon when went to check the shipping on an item. 

So if you are expecting a coupon, you may want to check and make sure it gets used before it expires.

I'm holding out until MP allows me to have multiple bank accounts including an account with an American bank. (I am registered in Canada.)

But I was wondering if the $15 is a credit against a purchase or can be used to pay MP fees?

The emails that I got on all my accounts said the coupon was good only for purchases made on ebay.com.
