Automatically Refresh Listing Quantity Once Sold

I am supervising a very large eBay store with over 5,000 listings. Each of these listings are GTC, and are given a starting quantity of 1. However, once this 1 item is sold, the quantity does not refresh and the item is considered sold out and delisted. How can I change all 5,000 of these listings to refresh every time the quantity drops to 0? Is there a way to do this through the Seller Reports Hub?

@simulat91 ,

There's no way to achieve exactly what you are describing. That would require eBay to change the quantity on your listing, and they are not supposed to do that. Only the seller is supposed to be able to change the quantity, because only the seller can know how many you have available.

One thing that you can consider doing instead, is to try using the inventory option. With this, your listings don't end when the quantity reaches zero, the listing stays active with quantity=0, and is not shown in searches until/unless you increase the quantity again. Then, after you sell one, if your production facility can handle another order right away, then you can go in and change the quantity again. More info:

Or, a simpler approach would be to just increase the quantity available on your listings. If your production facility can handle enough orders, then just set the available quantity to how many your facility can produce in a reasonable time frame. If you start to receive too many orders, then go in and edit your listings to reduce the quantity; you can reduce some items to zero (or one, or a low number) if you want to be able to concentrate on more popular or cost effective items.

If you have more than one, why aren’t you creating a listing with the actual quantity?

If you have more than one quantity you better listing with actual quantity. Don't listing as one quantity.

These items are made-to-order. There is no "stock" that we keep - once an order is received, we print and ship the item immediately.

I know an old post, but this been a problem for me for 10+ years, I have unlimited quantity, because print on demand, I have to randomly check each size and color on different product to see which ones are out of stock. due to selling limits and high number of variations on each listing we can not set high enough number to avoid this issue.

Looks like this person never got their shop off the ground, as nothing ever sold on this ID.  Mods need to lock it.

Happy Selling
