Popup Ads, in particular Freeshipping.com

Since the first of the year, I have been getting so many popup ads when I'm posting on Ebay? Does anyone know how to block these? Is it possible? Thanks, R

Sounds a little like there is some malware on your device....

(unless there are popups I haven't experienced, and I spend too much time here...)

what kind of popups?

Do they always occur when you click a certain link/function?

It's usually when I'm starting a new listing. It started at the first of 2024. I will run a scan on my computer to check for problems.

I would agree, it's 99.99% likely that it's coming from adware/malware on your system, not from eBay. Seeing no such popups here, and I've done a good bit of listing today.

I use AdBlock Plus.

I just learned there is advertising on YouTube, which I have used for years without ever seeing an ad.

While good, I don't think that protects against malware injecting ads like this (it's not a site displaying ads on purpose, it's software that's gotten on their system that's causing the browser to open a different site in a pop-up window).
