Has anyone purchase a vehicle on ebay motors

If you found the vehicle on some other site but the seller said it would be handled thru ebay motors, it is a scam.   If the seller wants payment with ebay gift cards, it is a scam.   Free delivery?  Scam.   5 or 7 day inspection period?  Scam.   Being sold by a woman with a sob story?  Scam.

I'm sure many have. But they were honest to goodness eBay listings. Is the one you're interested in listed here?

First and most important question:  Where did you find this motor vehicle listed for sale?

And how far have you gone with this purchase?

I've bought 2 cars from ebay motors.

I inspected both cars thoroughly, and then I paid cash after the cars were in my possession with all the correct paperwork.

Why?

Have the distinct feeling that we're looking at someone who may have fallen for the deal where a car was found on CL or FB and was told the sale would go through eBay for his protection.

But we won't know for sure unless/until the OP returns and offers further details.

You should never pay for a vehicle you haven't inspected. And if you found this vehicle on any site other than eBay, such as FB Marketplace or Craigslist, it's a very common scam. Ebay has nothing to do with sales on other sites. They don't have warehouses and won't ship you a car for a free trial period.
