What do you have - a print, watercolor, other?  Looks like either Piqq or Pigg.  Consider that it could be a different alphabet.   Do you know the location of the image?  Is anything written on the back?

Hi Rita. The piece is a watercolor that came from South Caolina.  No identifying marks or information on back.
