Buyer left negative feedback for not receiving unlisted content.

Hello everyone,

 

I had a listing for a toy that was factory sealed.  The buy bought the toy assuming it came with accessories.  These accessories were not listed in the listing or shown in any of the images.  They buyer left negative feedback for not receiving them, but I never advertised that I had them.  What are my options?

Hey,

 

1. Report the buyer for making a false claim.

2. Ask the buyer via the feedback revision tool to remove the feedback explaining why. If they do not remove the feedback then call

ebay and push that you have reported them for making a false claim.

3. Ensure that you reply to the feedback. So that other customers reading do see what has actually happened. 


4. eBay are often biased towards the customer when being asked to remove feedback, so if all else fails….

Leave the customer feedback using something like the wording… As eBay only allows ‘positive’ feedback.

So that other sellers can read what has happened.
