Did you mean:

Brand new Tencel shirt has odor

It's not vintage, but this is the only category I could find and I figured you guys would have some insight.

Brand new blouse, 100% Tencel from expensive boutique. I didn't notice the odor until I got home because it was when we were all wearing masks.

I thought I could just wash it according to the label and the odor would go away. It did not. I sent to the dry cleaners, still there.

Everything I've read about Tencel says it repels odors. Hmm. So do you think soaking in something like vinegar or ??? would help? It's a very nice blouse otherwise but I know I can't sell it with that smell. I am very scent sensitive but so are a lot of people.

Any ideas appreciates. TIA. (IF it helps, it was made in China of course.)
