My husband picked up a serving piece with a hallmark on it, pictured below. The lion did not look “right” but the price was right. I do not necessarily buy/sell silver, but I would like to put his mind at ease.

I am trying to determine if this medal is original or a fake. Even the fakes start at $650! I don’t have the book for this and cannot tell if mine is real from the real ones. Any one know out there?
