I did not find this cube pitcher researching Whitehall or Jeannette cube... and I am pretty sure its not Fostoria American, the glass has a yellowish tone. It has a small "hump" at the handle side of the top rim, that I did not see on any others I researched. Is there another company that did a cubist pattern? Thanks!! Oh yeah, the pitcher is 9" tall, 5 1/4" top diameter. My Grandsons

This little mustard pot appears to be handpainted and signed "Lnn 1959". There is a green backstamp that I think is WS George, also a raised S & J (or r & s )...measures just 3 and 3/4 inches tall. Any idea of a pattern name and IS that WS George? THanks so much! Marcia

I'm trying to identify the etch pattern on this center handle tray. It is Emerald colored glass with a Fleur de Lis handle in the center. Believed to be Fostoria. There is a Silver overlay band around the outside of the tray. Dimensions are 11-1/2 inch diameter, about 5 inches high at the handle. Thanks! ... Dave

hi i was at the TS today and i came across a really pretty irridecent glass decanter stamped mTc and i really wanted to buy it so badly because were setting up a 50s style liquor cabnet/bar thingie in our dining room and it would look so nice amongst out other bottles with some vodka in it. i didnt buy it because also stamped under it was this odd warning, something to the effect of "IT IS A FEDERAL CRIME TO SELL THIS ITEM FOR PERSONAL USE" scary. why on earth would it say that? is it...

Hoping we all have lots of great finishes this month! This thread could be anything that was sold very well that there was a huge profit margin or something that exceeded expectations or just shocked you that it sold and for what it sold, or it could a weird piece that sold like Peggy's sanitary belt. We don't always sell what we show in the Great Finds thread so I thought this would be fun to show our great finishes. Oh and this does NOT need to be PGP only, as many of us sell...

I don't have this bowl in my possession, but trying to find out who made it, when, BV is possible. It is 8" and looks similar to peach crest, but has a light yellow crest instead of clear. Any ideas are welcome. I don't think it's Fenton - not sure about Hobbs...beyond that, I'm out fo ideas on this one. TIA!

Glass isn't my area at all though I love looking at it. I picked this little 3 ¾" jug up thinking I'd find a million like it. So far, no. It's very simple and I'd think could have been made by anyone at anytime. I like the shape, reminds me of 18th C ceramic pieces. Anyway....I've searched a bit using "milk glass" "white opaque" and "Bristol" (though I don't imagine that's correct). Are there other terms I'm missing that might help or is this just so plain no one cares? I've checked...

Hello. I have 2 plates with the older (late 1800's) Haviland France mark and can't seem to find out anything about them. I have never seen Haviland china quite like these. The finish on the front of the plates is matte with lots of gilding (also matte), raised gold outlines of pansies and daisies and muted colors. The backs of the plates are glossy glaze like most of Haviland's china. I have searched high and low to find the name of the treatment and/or pattern to no avail. I would sure...

I have 3 pieces that I don’t know who made them. At least one of them is Bohemian, possibly all 3 are. #1- The iridescent piece with a ruffled top, the inside of which is mauve pink. It has narrow ribs separating the wider panels. It is approx 4” high, just under 5 ½ inches at the bottom and approx 6” at the top. I’m not sure if it’s a pontil or a cut shut mark, I’m leaning towards the latter. The glass is more transparent then it appears even in person. #2 – Mulit...

Hello. This tangerine(various hues..do I daresay amberina?), was part of a lot at a high end auction. Before I read the base, I KNEW it had to be a "signed" piece. It is signed(acid etched, BLENKO). It is a hand blown piece. It stands 7" tall to the tip of the neck. The bases diameter is 5". It is totally hand done and quirky. The neck is offset and a bit cocked. The whole piece has an optic. It undulates. One hue of tangerine melds into another. Is this a common piece of from the ROYAL line?...

I can use some help to I. D. the maker ? also the patterns on a large lot of cut glass I just received. Hi - The first item here is a white ceramic "cream" jug w/ red lid and lettering. What would this have been used for please. The opening is too small to be a cookie jar and the lid is not tight fitting to be actually for cream. It's heavy ceramic. Unglazed and unmarked bottom. This 2nd item is a pressed glass dish that I haven't found in my library books. But what looks very odd to me is that it looks like a thumb sized area has been pushed up like a little lip. But its only on one...

I am at a loss. I cannot find anything like it. There are no manufacturer's mark, except for 1465 incised on a stone behind the bench. The bottom shows some bubbles that make it look like a poured pottery piece, but... I don't know... looks really too detailed for that. Picked up at a tag sale, I have no real history on it. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. TIA, Honey

Could someone tell me about my little creamer. I assume it dates to the 1800s. It has a flow blue woman on the front. Tons of wording on the bottom but I don't know what any of it means. Could someone help. There is a maker's mark but I don't know what it is. It is a R and C and an X with a symbol that might be a crown but is no longer there. Says "Versailles" underneath that. On the inside circle it says "Saptic Gal. Louvre." Every time I pop those words in google, it wants to tell me...

Recently, I have seen some Marcrest daisy dot pottery for auction that is unlike any that I've seen and I've been collecting now for 11 years. I recently bought one piece that I'm almost sure is a repro. Also, for the first time (that I can remember) there have been a number of so-called rare pastel colors that I've never seen before, only one of which had the Marcrest stamp on the bottom. And while I know that the stamp isn't really the major identifier, there is another issue: the material of...
