Ebay has made it extremely difficult to view completed listings. If I do a search for completed listings, and then click on one of the listings, it appears on the screen for about a tenth of a second, then it disappears and Ebay displays a page that says "Bidding has ended on this item" followed by "Recommendations for you" which lists auctions which have not ended. The only way I can actually view a completed listing is by hitting the Escape key at exactly the right moment. I have to keep...

It was suggested that anyone who is unhappy about the default of Best Match send to eBay's Suggestion Box an email. I was told if they get a lot of suggestions then they will definitely take a look at changing it. It's worth a shot at least since how many buyers and sellers are happy with Best Match. I am using the Search Visibility Analysis reports to make decisions on thousands of our eBay listings, but have found that the tool is not accurate. Here are some things I'm seeing: It will show an item has no sales when we know for sure it did. It will show an item has 0 impressions or clicks but people are watching it. It doesn't show how far back the history goes for an item. Some items have 20,000 impressions - how long has it been collecting the data for that item? How do I know...

Ebay is quickly becoming useless. I have been an avid ebay fan, user and evangelist for more than 10 years (July 1999). In that time I have enjoyed not only frequently buying and selling, but have marveled at how ebay uniquely harnessed the distributed collaborative power of the Internet to match buyers and sellers--essentially creating new markets for very specific product. I've been a Seller (and buyer) on eBay for a decade now. I have been a PowerSeller for the past three years, never had a negative, have the latest little icon for Top-Rated Seller, DSR's are 4.9, 4.9, 5.0, and 5.0, blah, blah, blah. In spite of all that, my sales have dropped nearly IN HALF during the last couple of months. For the first time in three years, my sales dipped below the minimum for PowerSeller. Well I just saw this option on my Turbo Lister and thought SWEET, I'll use that. ya, untill a notice came up during upload that its only avaiable to Top-rated sellers. Just another way the little guy is getting screwed. Thanks again eBay

Hello, Absolutely every time the search window/ list appears, a small pop-up window appears, "buy from top-rated Ebay sellers", that intrudes on the list window and must be clicked on to remove. Can you tell me how long this annoyance is scheduled to appear? I intend to avoid Ebay until this no longer appears.

If I search using EBAY.COM I get a lot more results that if I search using EBAY.CA. I used search worldwide and in description as well. Why would it be different?

Whats wrongwith this new search? I ve made two identical listings. One is ending in two days. The other in 6 days. Guess which one has higher rankingin the search results? Yes. You guessed it folks! The one ending in 6 days is higher! Are they using quantum physics in their search algorithms? Cause it all looks random to me!

I HATE THIS! I am searching on Yahoo or Google for something like stereo speakers, maybe using a specific model. I get results that look interesting. I go to a site that seems to have something, only to realize that the site is a trojan setup by eBay designed to lure you here. Everything on this trojan site links to an eBay auction. And these trojan sites are all over the place and you can't tell that they are really eBay since they are cleverly made up to look like indepedant...
