I apologize if this is in the wrong forum, Ive only posted on the Ebay forums once before. I was looking for a used computer and Id seen some auctions which advertised this "extended warranty through Squaretrade." Seems like a good deal, relatively cheap, but is it worth it? The seller I bought from wasnt registered with Squaretrade, but when I input the aution number at Squaretrade it showed the item I bought and gave me a price. I need help... I've been selling on Ebay since 1992. 100% positive feedback and Top Seller Status. I recently sold a $90.00 curling iron to a buyer with free shipping. They received it and emailed saying it was defective. They claimed it was shutting off after only a couple of minutes. I was shocked because I have sold over 50 of these in the past 6 months with not one complaint. I told him to return the item & I would ship out another one. I completely tested a new one before...

i bought a item for less than 4,00 i paid for it receved it and the seller keeps sending me emails saying i bought another one and i did not and now has opend a case against me and is wanting to tarnish my name what do i do i have sent at least 5 emails is all this wotrth it for an item less than 4.00 and the shipping was way over priced but oh well what do i do

I was wondering how long I should wait on an Item? I Bought it now and paid on the 30th. On the 11th I emailed the seller and asked about the Item since it was still not marked as sent. They said It was returned due to insufficient postage. Offered a refund or to resend Item. I really want the item so I said to resend I can wait a little longer. I know paypal offer claims when an item is not received but what if Its not as described /not what you expected ? I'm trying to get a hold of the seller who no longer has a ebay account but they will not respond. I decided to open a dispute on the 9th but it doesn't say anything about how long seller has to respond or claims . Thank You !

A seller filed an unpaid claim against me on an item I don't remember ever bidding on. I just noticed an e-mail from ebay yesterday and I tried contacting the seller, but they're not responding. I was offered a second chance auction for an item I didn't win about a more than a month back. The reason was that the winner had not paid for the auction. I accepted the terms of the Second Chance Offer. I purchased a item last week and the seller required payment right away but has yet to ship the item. Why do sellers do this? The buyer did what they were suppose to do. Do these sellers not understand that just maybe a person needs a item in a reasonable amount of time? Why do they wait days to ship the item? Why can't a buyer require immediate shipment required? Just think if the item is a part for a snack food packing machine? I guess they get the money and forget the seller. Ebay...

Many sellers leave the default condition of "Acceptable" as a matter of course, describing their goods as "like new" or "mint" in the description section below. How does Paypal interpret this two-grades situation in SNAD cases? Are those Ebay codes, above the description section, disregarded by Paypal's dispute resolution? Just wondering so I can bid, or not bid, appropriately.

Hi all I need some help. i am in Thailand I was bought a docomo cell phone from a seller in japan last week. i was paid and seller ship to me with japan EMS service everything seem to be ok. but when i check my status on website it say "Returned to sendder" anyone know what happened to my item? it is because a cellphone cannot be send by EMS? Why is a seller requesting to settle on a final price for an item Ive already purchased from him an hour ago? The biding is closed and I received a receipt from Ebay an hour ago saying I won the bid. I also received a receipt from pat pal the items was paid from from my account. I'm very confused.

Lately i have been scammed with no shipping sellers.Maybe it did not bring enough money for their expectations but I would like to see something done.If you do not reply,ship or basically do anything this person should not be able to sell or buy on e-bay for a length of time.What do you think?I have not had any problems being refunded through e-bay or paypal but I think there should be some punishment for this type of activity.I am sick of this!

I won an item on October 31st. I paid for the item promptly. The seller sent me the tracking number that same day. On the 10th, the seller informed me that the package was sent back with insufficient postage and that they would send me $20 credit. I have requested a new tracking number on the 11th but the sender will not respond to any of my inquiries. Also, there is no $20 credit on my PayPal account. Does anyone have a recommendation on when I should open a PayPal dispute?...
